Right to competent care – Patients have the right to expect the kind of nursing and medical care to help them regain health.

Right to informed consent – The patient has the right to reasonably informed participation in decisions involving his/her health care.

Right to withdraw from participation – The patient/guardian may withdraw from whatever he has consented to because he/she doesn’t have enough information about what is to be done prior to consent.

Right to Confidentiality of information – You can expect full consideration of your privacy and confidentiality in care discussions, exams, and treatments. Confidential information may be revealed when/toMedico-legal in nature:

Right to be treated with courtesy and respect – Patient have the rights to receive considerate, respectful and compassionate care in a safe setting regardless of your age, gender, race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or disabilities.
Patients Responsibilities

Patient is responsible for providing accurate and complete information about medical complaints, past illnesses, hospitalizations, medications, pain, and other matters relating to their health.

Patient is responsible for the treatment plan recommended by those responsible for their care.

Patient is responsible for their actions if they refuse treatment or do not follow the healthcare team's instructions.

Seeing that their bills are paid as promptly as possible; following hospital rules and regulations.

Being considerate of the rights of other patients and hospital personnel.
